By the end of the day, what would you wish to happen?

Think long and hard about this question and write back to me in a comment! I would love to hear what everyone has to say!

Your typical Monday...I think NOT.

Karen: 1
Centipedes: 0

Today I woke up just like every other day, got dressed for the gym, and headed out to the living area to gather up all my necessities for the gym. And what do I see to my surprise laying near my sliding glass door?? Why it's a CENTIPEDE!!!! Th
e first one I have encountered indoors and close-up. Needless to say, I was NOT happy. I quickly grabbed the can of BOP from under my kitchen sink, snuck up on the bastard, and started spraying away. (I was literally spraying for a good minute or so- wanted to really make sure it was dead). I actually left it there to die while I went to the gym and when I came back I documented with pictures, scooped him up and threw him outside far far away. Hopefully that was my share of centipedes for the rest of the time I am down here (though I find that highly unlikely).

Bugs have not been my friend these past couple of days. Last night I got bit 4 times while I was sitting at my desk by a mosquito I cannot find! And during a lovely meal at a nice french restaurant (Mom, we are going there when you
guys come down) I got bit multiple times by mosquitoes. (We'll have to remember my heavy-duty bug spray).

On a lighter note but still pertaining to animals, the monkeys have been in the trees in the backyard and they are fun to watch while I am coo
king dinner. And there have been 2 mischievous donkeys wandering Mattingley hill. They accidently got into the yard and my neighbor and I chased them out because my landlord would probably have a stroke if she found them in the yard. I will have to get some pictures soon.

Here are some lovely pictures of my centipede:

My very first centipede. Thankfully it was half dead when I spotted it.

A nice close up.Looks can be deceiving...about 4 inches....not bad for my first. Let's hope it will be my last.

Until next time...
